1. About Us
Gourmet Baby Kitchen (GBK) is operated by Suzy V Consulting Ltd (NZBN 9429053747150), a New Zealand limited company. By purchasing the Starting Solids Hub, joining the Gourmet Baby Kitchen Hub, or otherwise using gourmetbabykitchen.com, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. What We Offer
Starting Solids Hub — a one-off purchase (NZ$79 incl. GST) giving access to readiness and mindset content, plus a Just Starter Pack of five prepped ingredients delivered by our delivery partner, TUM.
Gourmet Baby Kitchen Hub — an annual membership (NZ$220/year incl. GST) giving access to our recipe library, video tutorials, and (where available) live Q&A sessions.
Both products are education and recipe content — GBK does not manufacture, sell, or deliver finished/cooked food to you.
3. Following Our Recipes and Method
Our recipes and methods are based on Suzy V's professionally-developed, previously commercially-proven recipes. For best results, and for the food safety and quality outcomes we describe, recipes and preparation steps should be followed exactly as instructed. GBK cannot guarantee outcomes (including taste, texture, or your baby's acceptance of a food) if recipes or methods are altered, ingredients substituted outside of what's suggested, or preparation/storage/food-safety guidance is not followed.
4. Food Safety and Health Disclaimer
You are responsible for safely preparing, storing, and serving any food made using GBK's recipes, including checking for allergens and following safe food-handling practices in your own home. GBK's content is general guidance only and is not a substitute for individual medical or dietary advice from a qualified health professional (e.g. GP, Plunket nurse, dietitian) — particularly around allergen introduction, your baby's individual health needs, or any pre-existing conditions.
5. Ingredient Packs (Just Starter Pack & Gourmet Baby Kitchen Meal Packs by TUM)
Physical ingredient packs are prepared, packed, and delivered by our independent delivery partner, TUM, under their own Food Control Plan. TUM is responsible for the food safety, quality, and delivery condition of physical ingredient packs. GBK will always work with TUM to uphold our own food standards but any issue with a delivered ingredient pack (quality, freshness, delivery) should be raised with TUM directly, and we'll support you in resolving it.
6. Payments, Refunds and Cancellations
When you purchase the Starting Solids Hub or join the Gourmet Baby Kitchen Hub, you are gaining access to Suzy V's proprietary recipes, methods and content — Suzy V Consulting Ltd's intellectual property. Access is granted immediately on purchase, and because this is proprietary information rather than a physical product, no refunds are offered once access has been granted.
Gourmet Baby Kitchen Hub membership renews annually. You can cancel your membership at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period, to stop future renewals — this does not entitle you to a refund for the current period already accessed.
Payments are processed securely through our website's payment provider. We don't store your card details.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 (see section 11).
7. Intellectual Property
All recipes, videos, written content, and branding on gourmetbabykitchen.com are the intellectual property of Suzy V Consulting Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission. Your purchase gives you a personal licence to use this content for your own family's use — not for commercial use or resale.
Your Gourmet Baby Kitchen Hub login is personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or used by anyone outside your own household. We reserve the right to suspend access for any account found to be shared or used in breach of this.
8. Service Availability
We aim to keep gourmetbabykitchen.com and the Gourmet Baby Kitchen Hub available at all times, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — the website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
9. Our Delivery Partner, TUM
Ingredient packs are provided through our independent delivery partner, TUM, as described in section 5. If TUM's service changes, is paused, or is discontinued for any reason, your access to GBK's core recipe and video content is unaffected — the Starting Solids Hub and Gourmet Baby Kitchen Hub are designed to be fully usable whether you order ingredient packs through TUM or source your own ingredients.
10. Photos and Videos Featuring Children
If your family appears in GBK content (e.g. recipe videos, live sessions, social media), this only happens with your prior written consent, specifying how the content will be used. See Part 2 for how we handle any personal information connected with this.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, GBK is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our content or products. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or products after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law.

Privacy Policy
Who we are
Gourmet Baby Kitchen (GBK) is operated by Suzy V Consulting Ltd (NZBN 9429053747150), trading as Gourmet Baby Kitchen. We're committed to handling your personal information responsibly, in line with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).
What information we collect
Directly from you, when you sign up for the Starting Solids Hub, the Gourmet Baby Kitchen Hub, join our email waitlist, or contact us: your name, email address, and payment details (processed securely by Squarespace's payment provider — we don't store your card details ourselves).
From our delivery partner, TUM, when you order a Just Starter Pack or other ingredient packs through the Gourmet Baby Shop (shop.gourmetbabykitchen.com): only aggregate, non-identifiable buyer behaviour and sales data (e.g., product performance, conversion rates, order volumes). We do not receive your name, contact details, delivery address, or any other personal information from TUM — that information is held solely by TUM for order fulfilment.
Photos and videos featuring children: if you or your family take part in a GBK recipe video, live cooking session, or other content featuring your child, we will always ask for your written consent first, specifying exactly how the content will be used (e.g., Kitchen Hub content, marketing, social media) before filming or photography takes place. If a photo or video is supplied to us via social media (for example, tagging us or sending content directly), we will likewise ask for your written permission before using or sharing that content anywhere else.
How we use your information
To provide and manage your Starting Solids Hub or Kitchen Hub membership
To communicate with you about your account, orders, or content you've requested
To send marketing communications, only if you've opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
To understand how customers use our products and improve GBK's offering (using aggregate data only where this comes via TUM)
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Where your information is stored
Your account and membership information is stored via Squarespace's hosting and commerce infrastructure. Email communications are managed through Mailchimp. Both providers maintain their own security and privacy standards.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

Make a complaint if you think we've handled your information incorrectly (you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner: privacy.org.nz)
